I’ve worked with various storage technologies the majority of my career and take storing data very seriously. Where some people might use a service like Google or Dropbox, I have all the backend infrastructure necessary for replicating those kinds of services at home, albeit at a much smaller scale. This section will go into some details about what I store where, with what, and why it matters. And yes, it just so happens my datacenter bag does have a screwdriver (sorry, inside joke).
